Boris W. Palencia is the Manager of Finance and Administration for the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education (GGSE). In this role he oversees a team of seven full-time-equivalent employees, five departments, works with the Dean at the School level, and manages a portfolio of almost $20M yearly. He has been on campus for 16 years; 12 of which as a staff member. In prior roles he has held positions such as Business Officer, Financial Analyst, and Accountant. Boris has also been involved in many staff groups, such as, UC Administrative Management Professional (AMP) and is one of the founding members of the Veterans and Staff Association at UCSB.
