Natalie Rios

Natalie is an Administrative Officer at the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) providing support to three different departments within the UC Operations Division: Strategy & Program Management Office, Office of Culture & Inclusive Excellence, and Systemwide Community Safety. While Natalie joined UCOP in 2023, she began her UC affiliation at University of California Merced in 2019, with the External Relations Division. At UC Merced, Natalie worked alongside the Chancellor’s office supporting executive leadership in a variety of capacities. Natalie has over 20 years of experience leading teams, people, projects, and processes as an administrative professional.

In November of 2024, Natalie pioneered the very first administrative professionals network group at UCOP that meets bi-monthly. The group is a supportive community for UCOP staff in administrative roles who are eager to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate. The goal is to build a strong network where we can exchange insights, troubleshoot challenges, and discover new resources together.

Natalie earned her bachelor’s degree in business, with a certification in project management from the University of Phoenix. Before joining the University of California, Natalie worked at local community based nonprofit organizations where she served her community with providing basic needs and information resources. She continues to enjoy giving back to her community.
